Room 6's Bubble Song

We practised this bubble song for the Junior Syndicate assembly this afternoon. We thought you would like to hear our beautiful singing and see the actions we made up for our Bubble song.

Come and read our Bubble Poems!!

We have written poems about blowing bubbles and they are all displayed on the back wall of our classroom. On Friday we decorated our poems with cellophane bubbles and sparkly bubble blowing wands. Here are a few of the poems but we would like you to come and read all of them. They look very colourful and we are proud of them.

We love blowing bubbles!!

Last week Room 6 tried blowing bubbles with three different ingredients; bubble bath, detergent and shampoo. We all agreed that we had the most success with the shampoo.

Room 6 have been blowing bubbles. I love bubbles.

Room 6 have been blowing lots of bubbles. Detergent and shampoo was good. With the shampoo I blew big big bubbles.

Off to swimming on another hot afternoon.

We love going swimming in the afternoon at 2.30pm. We are lucky that we can swim on four afternoons
( Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) of the week. Mrs. Blair would be really pleased if all of our uniform items are named and that the girls have their hair tied back so that they are able to see.

Swimming is a regular part of our classroom programme and all children are expected to bring their togs ready to swim in the afternoon. If you don't want your child to swim for medical reasons talk to Mrs. Blair at the beginning of the day or send a note explaining why they can't swim that day. If the weather is cold we won't go swimming.

Here we all are!!

We are all getting used to our new classroom, our new teacher and all the classroom routines. Here we all are on the mat sitting up nicely so that we are listening and ready to learn.

Room 6 welcome back!!

I am excited to be starting back with Room 6!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are refreshed and ready to start the term. Swimming days are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2.30pm. It is a great time of the day to get a chance to swim and if any parents would like to come and help us we would be very grateful for your assistance.
Our library day is Wednesday and we will start to get books out in Week 2.
